objective: to get the information and to tell the differences among different groups, with a overall condition of the physical attribute of the Guangzhou students, who major in literary subjects; to analysise the statistics as well as to find out the major factors to it; to put forward suggestions according to the findings, thus will the aim at improving both physical and mental construction of the Guangzhou students majoring in arts.

Methods: using a comprehensive methodsduring the investigation, bringing 537 college students under a national standardized questionnaire, using software EpiData 3.0 to input a double entry, using software SPSS13.0 to statistically analysing the results.

Result: 8.8% maintain a comprehensive standard of health, while the problems are according to the rate percentage showed as follows: safety&emergent help(73.4%), scientifical mind of health(61.6%), preventing from infectious diseases(26.1%), fundamental medical care(15.1%), chronic prevention(9.7%).

Conclusion：the overall standard of the Guangzhou students remains to improve, to which we should incorporate training into education, take varied measures to improve the educating ability.
