Despite months of anticipation, nothing could have prepared me for the impact of the actual day. Tears welled up uncontrollably in my eyes when I slowly stepped into my Alma Mater on high school graduation day.

This was not what I had assumed before.
I was over whelmed by a rush of sadness, not excitement. Perhaps this day was the last time I saw my old school, which had been my devoted companion for three years.
I looked around, attempting to carry everything into my mind.
The quiet trail, decorated with spotted sunlight shadows casting through the spaces between the leaves, the refreshing sweet diffused in the air, the brilliant flowers, the chirping crickets, and the vivid green grass! All the things I will miss!

As if in a daze, I received my diploma from the headmaster.As I reached out my hand, I knew that I was reaching not just for a piece of paper but for a brand new life.

难忘的一天

We got there at nine o＇clock. Mr Zhu divided us into three groups and then we began working.

the students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers. the studentsin Group Two were busy collecting litter left by the tourist. they also cleaned the benches in the park. I was in Group Three. We went to the children＇s playground and cleaned all the equipment there. We worked very hard.

At about eleven we finished working. We met at the gate of the park. We all felt tired but very happy.

A day to remember 难忘的一天
We have all experienced days when everything goes wrong. A day may begin well enough, but suddenly everything seems to get out of control. What invariably happens is that a great number of things choose to go wrong at precisely the same moment. It is as if a single unimportant event set up a chain of reactions. Let us suppose that you are preparing a meal and keeping an eye on the baby at the same time. The telephone rings and this marks the prelude to an unforeseen series of catastrophes. While you are on the phone, the baby pulls the table-cloth off the table smashing half your best crockery and cutting himself in the process. You hang up hurriedly and attend to baby, crockery, etc. Meanwhile, the meal gets burnt. As if this were not enough to reduce you to tears, your husband arrives, unexpectedly bringing three guests to dinner.
Things can go wrong on a big scale as a number of people recently discovered in Parramatta, a suburb of Sydney. During the rush hour one evening two cars collided and both drivers began to argue. The woman immediately behind the two cars happened to be a learner. She suddenly got into a panic and stopped her car. This made the driver following her brake hard. His wife was sitting beside him holding a large cake. As she was thrown forward, the cake went right through the windscreen and landed on the road. Seeing a cake flying through the air, a lorry-driver who was drawing up alongside the car, pulled up all of a sudden. The lorry was loaded with empty beer bottles and hundreds of them slid off the back of the vehicle and on to the road. This led to yet another angry argument. Meanwhile, the traffic piled up behind. It took the police nearly an hour to get the traffic on the move again. In the meantime, the lorry- driver had to sweep up hundreds of broken bottles. Only two stray dogs benefited from all this confusion, for they greedily devoured what was left of the cake. It was just one of those days!

就像许多人最近在悉尼郊区帕拉马塔发现的那样，有时乱子会闹得很大。一天傍晚交通最拥挤时，一辆汽车撞上前面一辆汽车，两个司机争吵起来。紧跟其后的一辆车上的司机碰巧是个初学者，她一惊之下突然把车停了下来。她这一停使得跟在后头的司机也来个急刹车。司机妻子正坐在他身边，手里托着块大蛋糕。她往前一冲，蛋糕从挡风玻璃飞了出去掉到马路上。此时，一辆卡车正好从后边开到那辆汽车边上，司机看见一块蛋糕从天而降，紧急刹车。卡车上装着空啤酒瓶。成百只瓶子顺势从卡车后面滑出车外落在马路上。这又引起一场唇枪舌剑的争吵。与此同时，后面的车辆排成了长龙，警察花了将近一个小时才使车辆又开起来。在这段时间里，卡车司机不得不清扫那几百只破瓶子。只有两只野狗从这一片混乱中得到好处，它们贪婪地吃掉了剩下的蛋糕。这就是事事不顺心的那么一天！

今天是个庄严而特殊的日子,又是让我终身难忘的日子.因为我成为了一名光荣的中国少年先锋队队员.我感到骄傲和自豪!在我佩戴红领巾的一刻,我心里充满对老师的感激之情,是你们的辛勤培育使我茁壮成长,是你们的辛勤培育使我将来成为国家的有用栋梁.从我进入小学的第一天起,看见大哥哥大姐姐们胸前佩戴着鲜艳的红领巾,我投过去羡慕的眼光,我问我自己什么时候也能够像他们一样.现在我已经是一名光荣的少先队员了.我一定要以少先队员的标准严格要求自己,积极、向上、坚强、勇敢的克服一切困难.用我的实际行动来回报学校老师对我的教育和培养.我相信那庄严的入队誓词,那象征着五星红旗一角的红领巾,一定也会为我留下一生中最庄重而美好的记忆.我一定会在红领巾的陪伴下继承和发扬革命先辈的光荣传统,艰苦奋斗,勇攀高峰.

难忘的一件事 在我脑海里,有许许多多的难忘的是,但其中有一件事最令我难忘,那就是我第一次做饭.那是那一年的夏天,中午我放学回到家,一回到家,我就大声喊道：“今天谁做饭啊?饿死我了”.走到餐厅,才发现爸爸妈妈不在,着急的我这是在餐...
