Dear TomI am very happy to receive your letter． I am fine these days but a bit busy． I am always busy with my study and there are lots of homework to do every day． I work hard and I am interested in all the subjects so I can alwasy get good grades． I often do sports for about twenty minutes after school because it＆＃39；s good for my health and it can help me relax． I am going to take an important exam so that I can get into senior high． So I will try as hard as I can． How about you? 这次，华东之行的最后一站就是上海。上海，是中国第一大城市，中国中央四个直辖市之一。上海位于我国大陆海岸线中部的长江口，拥有中国最大的工业基地、最大的外贸港口，有超过2000万人口居住和生活在上海地区。
昔日的上海，只是一个以渔业和棉纺织手工业为营的小镇19世纪，由于上海良好的港口位置使其开始展露锋芒。上海成为中国开放对外港口之一，并很快因成为东西方贸易交流的中心而迅速发展。
上海城隍庙坐落于上海市最为繁华的城隍庙旅游区，是上海地区重要的道教宫观，始建于明代永乐年间（1403-1424），距今已有近六百年的历史。由于上海城隍庙内供奉的上海城隍神在上海地区的特殊地位，在近六百年的发展历程中，上海城隍庙道观的建设和发展得到了上海地区百姓的热心支持。从明代永乐（1403-1424）到清代道光（1821-1850）上海城隍庙的庙基不断扩大，宫内建筑不断增加，最为繁盛时期，总面积达到49.9亩土地，约三万三千多平方米。作为上海地区重要的道教宫观，上海城隍庙在“文革”时期，自然也遭受了重大的打击，神像被毁，庙宇被挪为它用。1994年，随着宗教信仰自由政策的逐步落实，上海城隍庙得到恢复，重新成为由正一派道士管理的道教宫观。在各级领导的关心下，在道教信徒的支持下，上海城隍庙在短短六年的时间里，便基本完成了一期修复工程。今天的上海城隍庙，包括霍光殿、甲子殿、财神殿、慈航殿、城隍殿、娘娘殿六个殿堂，总面积约一千余平方米。
全国首批4A旅游景点金茂大厦88层观光厅,面积为1520平方米,高度340.1米,是目前国内最高最大的观光厅,荣膺上海大世界基尼斯之最。两台每秒运行9.1米的垂直升降电梯,一次可乘载33位旅客,只需45秒钟可将游客从地下一层直送88层。登高远眺,大上海的景观尽收眼底,浦江两岸高楼林立,黄浦江上百舸争流,您可亲身体验"落霞与孤鹜齐飞,秋水共长天一色" 的美景。赏完外景,您还可以从上往下观赏世界举世无双的酒店中庭,它直径27米,28道环廊扶手在霓虹灯的照射下,金光闪闪。一道道环廊如同一排排画廊,美不胜收。此情此景,无不激动人心,您会不由自主地拿起照相机留下永恒的纪念。金茂大厦无与伦比的酒店中庭被建筑师、科学家、文学家誉为“共享空间”、“金色的年轮”、“时空隧道”。在88层观光厅看夜景更是一种享受,被誉为万国建筑博览会的外滩流光溢彩,美不胜收。远处高架道路和大桥上的灯火似彩练环绕,与星月争辉。此情此景令您犹如置身蓬莱仙境。在88层观光厅设有中国最高的“空中邮局”——金茂大厦88层观光厅邮政服务处,为游客提供珍贵邮品和特色服务
