In 1940, he made the film the GreatDictator which reflected Nazi’s cruelty during World War II. The majorfeature of his movies was the stir of miserableness and happiness in betweenwhere people tend to “smile with tears”. Chaplin’s last film was A Countess from Hong Kong made in 1967and this remains the only color he had made. In 1977, Chaplin passed away athis home in Swiss.
